Man didn't pick that and didn't see that coming. The Blues are looking good. They are looking fit, patient, well drilled and in control.

Yeah blues game was awesome...amazing what some good coaching, some good systems and some real want from a group of players can do.

Ranger has really said to the ABs, pick me or I'm off overseas...he was amazing.

Ranger goes missing too often on D and is too hot and cold for the ABs. Otherwise, he'd already have been an AB. Perhaps with different coaches in charge, but Henry was always very critical of his lack of committment on D and he seems to go missing often if the game isn't flowing his way. He will need to address those issues and improve greatly if he wants a Black jersey. The thing is also, he can say "pick me or I'm off overseas" as much as he wants, but when he leaves, there will be 5 other guys waiting to take his spot. There is no player in this country, perhaps aside from McCaw, and even he isn't a totally unreplaceable commodity, who can hold the Ab jersey ransom and threaten to walk if they don't get a jersey.

Blues went well. Crusaders were shite. DC and Dagg were terrible. Reid is class. I don't see DC making the next RWC to be honest. He's on the decline. I don't know why the Crusaders put the best 15 in the country on the wing too. That is just a dumb fuck decision.

Blues are definitely a better team than last year. It is early days yet, of course, but JK seems to have them moving in the same direction...They are all moving in (bites tongue, grinds teeth, swallows hard, and chastises self for using this term) "one direction".... Blues back 3 are dangerous. Luatua is turning into a very good 6 too. Baden Kerr also looks like he has the goods.

All valid and very good points there bro.

I guess that's why ranger has missed out in the past. He was like a man possessed last night though.

Best 15 in the world on the wing just not sure. Dan definitely looked off the pace. Maybe enjoyed his summer a bit to much

DCs values will have shifted. He's married, he's got a kid on the way, he's got his sabbatical thing to go and do. He's well off the pace, but, so were the rest of them after having 2 weeks off while everyone else has had at least 1 game.

Dagg is not a winger. He's a 15. He's fantastic at counter attacking from kicks etc.

Ranger has definitely lifted his game, but I'd say that's more to do with JK giving him the stern word than his aspirations to become an AB. Ranger will have to lift his game another few levels before be starts knocking on the AB selectors doors though I think. If he keeps playing well though, who knows. His attacking prowess has never been his problem though, it's always been his defence. Work that out, don't miss any tackles, read the game play well and he may very well get the call up.

WT FUCK! Highlanders! WHAT? It's the CHEETAHS FFS. You don't lose to them of all teams. Jamie Joseph needs to sort these guys out. Fark what a pumping. What a joke. Almost as big a joke as the Warriors. Sad face.

Hope those blues put in another decent performance. A few team changes this week so will be interesting to see how they front up.

Not soo suprised re the highlanders really. Cheetahs have a much stronger squad this year and I was suprised they didn't do better vs the chiefs last week.

Hopefully these NZ teams don't have a massive lull after all the All Black success.
