unless he has improved from at the blues, semi not sure if srs.

Pretty sure Anscombe played at ten for few games in 2012 while cruden was injured and got job done.

2013 it was

edit:  couldn't find much, but found this about playing 10 against the Blues (after being dropped by Kirwin):

"It's a possibility. Playing Gareth at 10 was certainly something we looked at prior to starting the season," Rennie told the Sunday Star-Times. "He'd certainly be highly motivated to make a bit of a point. That's certainly an option next week.

"He played really well at 10 during the preseason. He was quite superb against the Highlanders scoring 20 odd points [in Taupo]. We're really comfortable with him slotting in there.

"He's going really well. He's still learning the role of 15 but he's kicking well and his positional play is solid. We're really happy with him. I imagine when he came to us he would have been wondering how much game-time he'd get. He's played as much as anyone else in the competition."

Anscombe was always a 10 before was moved to 15 at the chiefs

Only problem is that anscombe tends to stand a lot deeper than cruden does and this won't allow the chiefs back line to operate how it has been recently. Not a hard thing to fix though of course

No love for the crusaders? Pretty good effort to pick up the first foreign win on S.A soil given how shit the backline is this year

Considered but cant really promote them from at risk of decommission to the power rankings based on one performance.

Two wins in SA......well that's potentially next weeks story.

8 time super rugby champs with half tbe ABs squad currently at the bottom of the conference and 12th overall.

They have some catching up to do

they sure do! Such awesome forwards, such shit backs (except Andy Ellis).

2 from 2 would make them at risk of promotion, agree with that

Hitro's Power Rankings - Tuesday 15th April Edition

Worthy contenders (in no particular order)

Crusaders – by popular request....the only overseas team to pick up two wins in the republic this season so far and they did so in convincing fashion, even picking up a 4 try bonus point. Pretty impressive considering how shit they were back here in NZ. True test though will be this weekend where after a long flight home they were face an out of sorts Chiefs side in Hamilton. Only then will we know if this team has turned the corner and has found the power to take a shot at the title.

Liverpool - Top of the premiership and fast approaching the business end of the season. This week they managed to beat their main title rivals Man City 3-2. Man City now sit 5 points behind with two games in hand and their destiny is firmly in their own hands but Liverpool have stood up and done what was required to make scousers proud throughout the world.

scousers.jpg

Gold Coast Titans - 4 wins in a row now for the boys from the GC and 5 from 6 overall sees them on the top of the NRL table. Sure its early in the season but the Titan's get their mention now as Hitro can't see them still producing the power come the business end of the season.

This weeks number 1 display of power....

mastersB14apr14-470303.jpg

Blubber Watson - Two time Masters Champion. Sure the guy is pretty dam emotional and looks like he could cry at any time but DAMMMMM this lefty can really hit a ball. Looks like a nancy but he sure does have some power. And never one to shy away from using it on risky shots either. Check out this quality 360yard plus on the par 5 13th at Augusta...

And those at risk of decommission

The Phoenix - what the fuck are you still doing here? Thought you were finished?? Oh no?? Still had another thrashing in ya? Oh ya did, did ya? 4-1 ass-kicking at home was it? Ya should be proud of that...and the other 47 goals conceded this season. It was quite an achievement to be the only club in the A-league to concede 50 or more goals this year. Well done. Shame it wasn't quite enough to secure back-to-back wooden spoons...nice try though!

8492988.jpg

Jeetan Patel - well well well.....Mr Patel turns down the extremely kind offer of a tour to the West Indies with the rest of the Black Caps. Maybe he was shocked he was selected? I sure was...hell how can this guy be even considered? He hardly looked interested last time...why should we bother?  Anyway, not to fear.....at least Peter Fulton will be there to dominate on your behalf.

Bit late but was loling at ya banan skin comment earlier re warriors.
"Warriors management - so apparently the Warriors coach (of the last 29 games anyway) resigned this morning.....yeah right. Sure the loss to the Sharks was big but its was a farken big bananna skin that most saw coming. "

How big was the "banan skin" the warriors slipped on when the ball didn't go to Johnson for the drop goal vs Doggies?

Think N Friend stood on it when the kickoff went his way too...
